Why We Think IntuiFace is a rAVe 2015 Digital Signage Champ

Just last week, rAVePublications recognized IntuiLab’s IntuiFace software as the “Best DigitalSignage Software Solution” at Digital Signage Expo 2015 (and there were plenty options to choose from!). We are of course honored to be recognized by rAVe as a 2015 Digital Signage Champ. We also think this recognition says something about the digital signage (DS) business.

  1. Touch-first signage is becoming a first class-citizen in the DS market. There are lots of reasons interactivity is catching on, from increased audience engagement to vastly improved analytics, but adoption of a new approach in any field typically lags the intellectual recognition of value. We may be crossing the chasm here.
  2. Content is king and passive content isn’t what it used to be. There will always be a place for passive signage but the ability to dynamically display and control content based on user decisions is the new digital signage game changer.
  3. Do-it-yourself is of paramount importance. The traditional approach to digital interactivity is bespoke software development with emphasis on     HTML5. The cost is high, the timeline is long and few possess the skill     set. Digital signage consumers – watching other industries put power in the hands of the end user – are growing tired of these old school approaches with vendor lock-in. It is time for the DS world to catch up.
