Amazon has adapted its Fire OS operating system to produce a stick dedicated to digital signage. Think of the Amazon Signage Stick as the Amazon Fire TV Stick, but optimized for the single purpose of securely running digital signage content.
Intuiface Player now supports the Amazon Signage Stick. The Stick does not support touch-based interfaces, so consider it an option for traditional, broadcast digital signage.
Player for the Signage Stick is live, which means it can be installed on the Stick as you would any app on a smart TV, or directly from the Appstore. Amazon is also actively validating Intuiface as a recognized CMS partner for the Signage Stick, a process we expect to be completed shortly.
NOTE: Intuiface Player is compatible with any Fire OS device, including the Signage Stick, the Fire TV Stick, and even televisions running Fire OS. However, we have only validated Player for the Signage Stick and Fire TV Stick. Further, keep in mind that only the Signage Stick is optimized for signage use.
Amazon's Foundational Technical Review (FTR) is used to evaluate software and infrastructure against a set of best practices derived from the AWS Well-Architected framework to ensure security, reliability, and operational excellence. Validation is a prerequisite for recognition in the AWS Partner Network. Those products achieving validation are considered "Qualified Software".
Intuiface has passed its FTR Review, achieved Qualified Software status, and is now a recognized Amazon partner
This approval addresses both our extensive AWS-hosted infrastructure, used throughout Intuiface's back office, as well as the Intuiface software products themselves. This validation is another proof point, alongside our ISO 27001 certification, that Intuiface pays more than lip service to producing scalable, reliable, and secure software for our customers.
We're showing off some third-party integrations in our latest samples, found in the Examples Catalog.
Both experiences have dedicated articles in our Help Center - SeekBeak and Photo Booth - that describe how they were created.
Thanks to our AWS-based infrastructure noted above, we have fulfilled our promise of high reliability and availability to our customers. Nevertheless, issues can arise, either with these services or with other third-party services we rely on, as well as planned outages to enable service improvements.
The availability and service status of our entire infrastructure can be followed on our Infrastructure Status page. We encourage you to subscribe to this feed as well.
Subscribers will be notified of both planned and unexpected outages and kept abreast of issue triage and correction. Knowing is half the battle!
We're excited to welcome Daulton Tyler to our North American Sales Team. Based in West Virginia, Daulton brings Southern charm to the hard-hitting world of software sales. Eat or be eaten, he says, in the nicest way possible.
Ok, actually, he's a sweetheart who has proven to be a quick learner, bringing his previous SaaS expertise to Intuiface's software and domain. The best thing for good software is good people, and we found that in Daulton.
We're thrilled to have him on board and excited for our Americas customers and prospects to meet him.
